About
Hey there! I'm Jared Goldman, a passionate drummer with over 20 years of experience under my belt. For the past decade, I've had the privilege of sharing my love for the drums through teaching and performing. It's been a rewarding journey to tour, perform and witness my students' growth.
I pursued my Bachelor of Music degree at Humber College, where I immersed myself in music theory, performance, and composition. Along the way, I had the incredible opportunity to study with some exceptional drummers who have influenced my playing style, including Larnell Lewis (of Snarky Puppy), Joe Farnsworth, Mark Kelso, Adam Arruda, Steve Mancuso, and Barry Romberg. Their guidance has helped shape my musicality and broaden my creative palette.
Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of performing with esteemed acts such as the Lemon Bucket Orchestra and Birds of Bellwoods. In addition, I lead my own trio and quartet, performing regularly in and around the vibrant city of Toronto. It's incredibly fulfilling to connect with audiences and share the energy and joy that drumming brings.
An exciting chapter of my musical journey unfolded during the 10 years I spent as an orchestral percussionist in the Royal Canadian Navy. This experience not only refined my skills but also instilled in me values of discipline, teamwork, and precision that continue to shape my approach to music.
I'm truly grateful for the diverse experiences and opportunities I've had as a drummer. Whether I'm on stage, teaching, or collaborating with other talented musicians, my passion for music is palpable in every beat I play. I strive to inspire others and create meaningful connections through the universal language of rhythm.
